Old hand, new on the block

Postby Pterosaur » Sun May 10, 2009 7:52 pm

This is my first time on a village network site. I lived most of my formative years in Warsop, being involved with the Cub Scouts, Boys Brigade, Air Cadets and WDGG (if you know, you know). Worked for Eastwoods Builders, then Mansfield Hosiery Mills and at Mansfield General Hospital before signing up with Newark District Counsel. Having Spent some years living at Spalding in Lincolnshire, we moved to Stoke-on-Trent where I now reside. I have relatives in Warsop and lots of old memories - which are fading with the passing of time. My interests are Photography, Fossils and Family History.

Hi there Pterosaur, welcome to the forum. You nearly didn't make it
I was in the process of deleting spammers, who usually sign up with strange names, when you appeared. I'm glad you posted straight away as i was just thinking " is this another one".

Again welcome, with that history i may soon realise who you are. You can probably help some of us out with forgotten memories 8)
