I was just about to ask the same question Matey, about how they heard of Church Warsop!
It shows what a good place this area is to live in, when people are willing to move 150 miles to live here.

My parents retired to Shirebrook until my dad died 14 years ago - then Mum moved away to be nearer her family further north. It was coincidence just driving around on way home from visiting mum that I drove to the area, saw a house for sale and fancied it - ages ago, then house market collapsed, took me 18 months to sell my place, original house gone off market, but just at that time another nicer one appeared - the fates obviously have it planned to their schedule and not mine!!! Still waiting to exchange contracts and trying to be patient, but just want to move now decision is made - really looking forward to it!!! Touch wood, it all goes through!

Also spent a lot of my childhood holidays on my uncle's farm just outside Chesterfield in a little place called Calow - and I absolutley loved it - really a country girl at heart! I adore having my animals around me!

Ahh, that's nice, so you already know about the beautiful countryside we have and want a bit more of it - I don't blame you! Calow's not far from Church Warsop either. I hope the sale goes through quickly for you yvonne. Keep us informed and we'll look out for you once you're one of us!

I live about 10 miles from Hutton. Silly little details on our sale are holding things up and becoming frustrating!

...... and, if you come soon you'll be in time for the Christmas Market night on 10th December. Organised by a new team this year who are striving to make it bigger and better than ever!

Sorry yvonne, I try to stay well away from solicitors if I can. I honestly believe they drag their heels with conveyancing so they can justify their fees. I really do sympathise with you. The best thing to do is keep on their backs, ring them every day, although they always blame the other side!

A solicitor friend of mine confirms the above is true, when she bought her own house it only took her 3 days

Love to know how to get mine done in 3 days!!!! It is my sale side that is causing delay - not the purchase side! :x
