I've lived in a few places before shifting here. Like you it was some local lass that got me here. Warsop has its good and bad, its never gonna be on a par with any idyllic sleepy village in the Cotswolds, but at the same time its never gonna be on a par with Moss Side either.

If you've got kids you'll be fine, theres plenty of decent countryside surroudin the place for them to enjoy, the schools are reasonable, and theres quite a bit for them to get involved in.

Dont know that much about Sutton, but going on what I have seen of the place I'd say Warsop is a much more attractive place to live.

Big Dan it would be nice to see a list of your credentials, we need to make sure you are suitable to become a Warsopian  A major plus is being able to drink copious amounts of wine

OK... so credentials.

I have had all my major vaccinations, and am considered in good health. despite living in Sutton, I have been cleared as certifiably ok and no threat to the public.

Drinking - passed the alcohol test a few years ago but am more than willing to give a practical demonstration if required.

I lived on clumber street in warsop with my parents for 16 years,It's not far from vickers street but in my opinion is better.Perhaps you could buy a house in a better area that needs some work doing on it.
