Anyone who's over 50 can get work done in their garden by the Golden Gardeners of Brooke Farm. They do things like borders, weeding, mowing, tidying and general maintenance and are subsidised by Notts County Council as they employ people who are disabled, so their prices are good.

Good job we are over 50 then!!!! Thanks for letting me know. Initial work will be quite heavy I think, but after that it will be general gardening.

Here you go then... this is what I advertise on the Warsop Web homepage....

The County Council and its partners have a gardening service to help people over 50 at a subsidised price they can afford. Border work, Weeding, Mowing, Tidying and General maintenance. Work will be carried out by disabled people who are on Nottinghamshire County Council’s supported employment programme. All have been trained and will bring all their own tools and equipment. Phone - 0115 963 2638 or email: jacqueline.anderson@nottscc.gov.uk
