The poppy appeal is one I always support because the Royal British Legion were fantastic in supporting my mum when my dad died. They do so much good work, I don't think people realise just what they do and how much help they give ex servicemen and their families. My mum has the opportunity to go on a poppy holiday every two years and take her sister as a companion. She thoroughly enjoys it and it also gives the family a break as we know she's well looked after at the Poppy holiday hotel.

Even if you cannot attend the launch please give when the opportunity arises, The RBL is one of the top charity organisations and do a lot more than people realise. Thanks :D
Screw the padded room, give me a trampoline floor with bubble wrapped walls and a velcro ceiling.

Can someone arrange for a couple of collection tins to be put in the Legion please.

Then I will shame everyone into making sure that they put their money in when they come in.
Should be able to raise a couple of hundred pounds at least in loose change. My pint is now £2.45 and i've got so many 5p's its silly.

Oops. Just realised, that doesn't sound good does it.
