Rememberance Day(s)

Postby Jake » Mon Nov 03, 2008 11:12 pm

I am attending both Rememberance events in Warsop. Can someone please give me the usual happenings on Both the Sunday and the wednesday? Or what you think might be happening. Never been to one in Warsop. I gotta get my tunic out and iron it!

Thanks

Well either way i'm debating with myself to go or not. I am having my wreath laid elsewhere, ( somewhere it will stay all year ) by a friend. Will see how i feel on the day.

As there is now a service at the Warsop Vale memorial, there won't be a 2 minute silence outside the police station.

A good turn out today despite the weather, didn't see you Jake, an excellent service but shame there was no marching band. Thanks to the Ex-servicemen's for a welcome cuppa to warm us all up.
