Red, the scrambles on the Hills and Holes were before your mum and dad met, but he might have gone. Ask him!

I remember, many moons ago, on a summer evening; 3 young lads trying to re-trace the Scrambles course on a stripped down Capri-Scooter. One of them (Bartie1 !) took a wrong turning on the top of a very large 'Hill' above a very deep 'Hole' and ended up in a Hawthorn Tree. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Leather Jacket, decorate with shiny chrome studs (obtained from 'Plantys') 'Ice Blue Jeans' (Lee-Cooper-from Woodheads--) Winkle Picker Boots or Baseball Boots (from Tylers). . . . . . . . . . .ready to go

A shot of 2 stroke, in the tank with the petrol, gyrate the 'Bantam' wildly before you pull away or the plug will 'oil up' ( does anyone under 50 know what i am talking about) Watch out for the 'Rat Hole' At 'Clippo'

'Reverse Cone Megas', 'Rocket Gold Star',. . 'Tribsa', Norvin'. .. . .it all got a bit confusin' but the louder the better 'Slog-it' up Cucney hill and sail down the other side and into the Greendale Car Park . . . . . . . . .

And please refrain from using "Txt" speech and "Numeric" figures replacing letters in future posts.

I remember when i was younger going down Hills & Holes, we used to ride the bikes down there and play hide and seak with some good hiding spots

Not forgetting the old tramps which we used to think lived down there, people used to terrified when it got to dusk

Its a shame theres such a lack of places to ride these days, i've been on a little mission in the van today looking for more legal places to ride in the area, found 2 1 of which the council have shut down, still waiting for more info on the other one which is located just outside pleasly. I still go and watch acma races and its a great day out even if your not a motor mad person, it'd be good to see it become a regular family outing again in and around warsop :D
Then i could race without travelling to far.
