I think you're right moaner, he's probably a harmless down and out, but it's the fact we don't know him or his background that makes us wary and where kids are concerned, you really can't be too careful.

that's true caz but things some people say are the way rumours start and he has no hiding place if he is an innocent down and out when some vigilante thinks he's a no gooder and decides to beat him up

well i would just like to point out that its christian aid week and if i see this guy i will reach out either by buying him some food or giving him an old blanket or some old clothes, as i would hope that if i was in the same situation someone would do the same for me. To be honest i hope i do see him just to put you all to shame!

people should sus out the facts first though, like i said people may read this as truth and think he's some indecent person. others on here say get the facts before suggesting things on here, and i think this stands for this especially

I tried a sarcastic hint about this type of thing a few days ago likening this forum to Royston Vasey, but it was suggested I watch too much telly.
When I was a kid we saw people like this a lot, just tramping around from one place to another. My grandma lived on the main road and was a soft touch and always refilled their tea flask and made them sandwiches.
In all probability he's perfectly harmless and more likely to have harm done to him.
This is more like guilty till proven innocent.

I don't think top gun was assuming anything, he was just agreeing with me.

Anyway, I feel sorry for tramps but I'm sure they're used to people avoiding them and they obviously prefer it that way otherwise they'd be checking in at the nearest homeless shelter. I'd give him a sandwich or a cuppa though.

some feel too proud to ask for help at shelters so they prefer to stay on the street and fend for themselves.
