Sainsbury's is closing all its existing Netto stores, so it looks like that's the end of the road for the Warsop development:

What now?

What is going to happen now that Netto is going to close down in the UK in August? When will the Parish Council be in talks
with lidil or Aldi? We need a supermarket in Warsop, the sooner the better.
This question has been going on for far too long.

I wouldn't be surprised if Aldi and Lidl close some of their stores in the Uk either. The main concentration for them is Europe. Don't forget that there is no Tesco, Asda, Morrisons etc etc for competition outside of the UK. :D
Screw the padded room, give me a trampoline floor with bubble wrapped walls and a velcro ceiling.

Lidl may be the only option but then they are thinking of opening a store in Shirebrook

Aldi are in Shirebrook and, Woodhouse
Asda are in Forest Town Sutton and Ollerton
Sainsburys Mansfield
Morrisons Woodhouse and Sutton Kings Mill
Tesco Oaktree Mansfield Ollerton Clowne
Lidl Sutton
Waitrose- just put that down as a joke

Warsop is a dormitory town and MDC want all the facilities to be based in Mansfield , we don't have a very strong Parish Council and the town lacks clear leadership

So in conclusion we are up the creek without a paddle

That's a good question. I wish someone would give us some idea.
