High Street Danger Warning

Postby Westmorland » Tue Oct 15, 2013 4:37 pm

If you are walking down the High St, do not walk on the pavement by the house with the white door opposite the vets as tiles are in a dangerous position on the roof and there appears to be a hole in the roof were some tiles have already come off and others look quite dangerous especially in the event of any high winds

Not sure if anyone lives in the house or not

If you mean the house that has a shop front that always had geraniums in the window, although it may look empty, I'm sure the people who own it still live in it. If the roof is unsafe, it should be covered by their insurance. I think the roof above the Indian takeaway looks worse.

Nice to see new tiles on the house on High St

The Tudor Barn looks like the next place that needs a new roof due to damaged tiles, so be careful if walking by the Parish Centre when there are high winds

Personally think that the majority of 'Old' Church Warsop is looking a bit wonky... round about the Meden Glen / Cupar Close /Glannis Square / Dronley Drive end of Manor Road areas.... send the bulldozers in to clear the lot and replace it with a nice ornate fountain, bit of grass and an extra carpark.

Actually I've had a reevaluation... the surveyors have been in... those areas are looking absolutely fine. It's the Church Close end they're more concerned about.
