There is lots of police activity in Warsop at the moment. There are several police vehicles currently on Fenwick Street... rumour is there has been a shooting on Fenwick Street.

MUST STRESS: This is just a rumour at this time and unconfirmed.

I've also heard there was a mugging at the TSB a few hours ago around the same time as all this.
But again these are just rumours.

A mugging at TSB just before 7.30pm. My hubby! He's OK but sore and short of cash!

Mugger arrested up Bainbridge way about 8 o clock. He'd also done a speed bank mugging at Shirebrook and a handbag snatch earlier, he was obviously doing his rounds! The police you saw were probably from Shirebrook, as it was Derbyshire police who picked him up in Warsop. Bloody druggies!!

Thank you to all who have sent well wishes. ;)

Thanks all! He's not badly injured, he was checked over at casualty, nothing broken, just a bruised elbow and hip where he hit the ground but should be fully mended in a few days. I think his ego is a bit bruised because he didn't catch the mugger. He got up off the floor quickly as the mugger got onto a bike and managed to catch up and push him, but the bike hit the wall and didn't unsaddle the thief. Hubby lost sight of him as he shot off up Clumber street.

I'd just like to warn people to be very careful when using machines and avoid being there on your own in the dark. Hubby isn't small and he's quite fit, yet he was still targetted. When hubby got to the cash machines there was a young lady using one and a man at the other. The young lady finished so hubby went to withdraw his cash. The man at the other one was the mugger and pretendedto be using it, which gave him a legitimate reason for being very close to the machine next to it when someone was getting cash.

Thank you to the young lady from Sutton who was at the cash point before hubby and who called the police. She was quite distraught as she could have been the one mugged if hubby hadn't been there waiting to use the cash point. Also thanks to the couple from Warsop who were also good witnesses. All three were very supportive!

Just seen this on Look North, i hope she had just wandered and is now safe. It would be nice if the parents would ring in and confirm.

It seems very strange that a girl can be spotted by so many people, yet nobody seems to know of a girl that's missing.
