Why have they refused? They've always been happy to have them up on their fence before!

Fire Station would be a good place, or ask Paul if you can put one up on the Church railings! That's probably a better place as it will catch people going to Meden Vale and Church Warsop.

Thats good of Oak Garage. I was taking my car there for a service next week but I won't be now, they can shove their garage if that is their attitude.

I would have said that the church would be a really good place, a couple of steaks in the lawn so it is a bit higher up and facing towards Cuckney Hill.

Or maybe Mark would let you put one up on the side of the Plough, he has a few banners up at the moment so I am sure he won' mind another.

The banner on the library railings was vandalised within hours of it being put up. Some very itelligent person thought it would be very funny to rip off the new date stickers off to reveal last year's date.

We couldn't afford to have the banners re-done this year so a very nice man offered to make new date stickers for them FREE :D

Shame the council would not put them up for you, they could have used the cherry picker to put them on the wires that the "Merry Christmas from Warsop" illuminations go on as you enter High Street and on Sherwood Street as they are there all year round.

Is it worth mentioning it to Bowrings?
They might have a cherry picker, and they've always been willing to help out for the Carnival.

Exactly Tania,

Because its over the highway, It will have to be risk assessed, along with a lump sum for the public liability charges...which i can't see them paying for.
