Hole on parade route

Postby loftyhermes » Fri Jun 12, 2009 1:19 pm

I notice that the hole is still there on the corner on Manvers Street, which is on the parade route, maybe it's worth having a word in someones shell like at MDC to get it repaired before the parade. It's only three weeks away.
Me slow??? I get up in the morning with nothing to do and go to bed at night with half of it done.

I have been in touch with them about it after a resident told me about the hole. Taken it to the top but obviously they still haven't done anything about it. Will get onto them again on Monday!

There should have been a team surveying the site today. Have they fixed the hole then because they weren't originally sure if it could just be a fill in job or require some more substantive works.

Well it's all done and dusted, finished, tarmac looks lovely for the parade, apparently the Chad got it sorted.

The Chad would say that but I think it was actually the council that got it sorted.. and I'd like to think that my numerous phone calls and emails might have put it on top of their list .. but I daresay the intervention from the Chad was an alarm call to them to get on with it.

Well do you think someone could influence them to repair the large hole that has appeared in the pavement on Sycamore Street in Church Warsop. There haas been a barrier put round it for more than a week now.

Must be silly season for holes.

If the barrier has been put up then MDC are aware of it. The one in Warsop has actually been there for nearly 3 weeks before getting fixed.
