Well Stu and the rest of his team have just flown over, and even tho they were only there for a few seconds I thought they were brill!
Deffo made this years carnival something extra special I think!

Well done to whoever asked them to join us, a great idea!

Now back to the fun!!!

Hope it all went ok today and the weather held out for you. It sounds as if it did if the Arrows were able to fly past.

We had a good day here for our village festival but just had the usual planes going in and out of Manchester airport flying by - they do go a bit slower though.

I thought it was awsome. How they fly like that amazes me. I got a message from my brother, BobB, he'd been talking to Stuart Chapman last night and he'd told him they'd be flying over at 14.21 08 seconds precisely. And they did! Red, white and blue smoke and all. I was just taking someone's parking money and nearly threw it back at them. Frighented me to bliddy death they did, but didn't half give me a spine chill and I was jumping up and down waving like the unashamed madwoman I am!

Talking of mad women, one asked us what time the Red Arrows were landing - and she was serious!! ???

Thank you Red Arrows!!! You made our day!!

moaner got a pic of them flying away in the distance. I felt sorry for the Tudor Dancers they were in the middle of dancing when they flew over and had their music cut by the announcer!

Yes, that was unfortunate! But we were never officially going to be told what time to expect them and the timetable for the stage had already been set. It was only because we'd got our local Red flying that we did get to know on carnival day. I announced the time on our walkie talkies for committee members, but not everyone heard me and it didn't get passed to the PA box.
