Carnival Feedback

I didn't get chance to see much of it and that's usually the case with committees, but what I did see looked pretty good. A wet start and a downpour just before the end but the in between bit was good and didn't ruin the day.

So tell me what you thought about it. What was good and what was not so good?

The floats were judged by the Vice Chairman of NCC, The Chairman of MDC and The President of the Roatary Club.

I walked up the parade route and then down it before the parade, handing out flags with Incey and jilli, I thought I wouldn't see it, but had a brill view from the side of the road at the car park. And very impressive it was too. Was it the biggest parade ever?

I liked the Australia float as well, in fact I had an Australian flag that I was waving and I handed it to one of the little girls on the float!

I don't know what the results of a lot of things were, flowers, its a knockout, bike draw, duck race. Will have to find out and post.

Gaz really enjoyed the day.

And, I'd like to thank the fire crew for helping out a desperate and very grateful female! On my way from car park duties to flag duties, I had to nip into the station to use their loo!!
