It's always dangerous to start naming people in your thanks, even more so when you're tired. I know that but I still did it because I was so proud of you all.

 I've hardly seen hubby since Thursday, today he came home from work, got on the settee, fell asleep, woke up and went to bed!

Come to mention it Sam, I didn't see you all weekend. I saw lots of flashes of your van zipping around here, there and everywhere, but it was just a blur!! Well done!

As we're talking a lot of thanks here, we all owe a lot of thanks to TD, for his work as Carnival Committee Chairman. For keeping the rest of us in order, clearing the way for us, steering us in the right direction and getting us to a successful end! A team can only be as good as its leader! Well done indeed that man!! =D>

I'm with you on that. Can't wait to get started on carnival 2009! Er, maybe we'll give it a couple of weeks rest and then start eh?

I am so proud to have worked with such a dedicated team and thoroughly enjoyed the whole year. Every committee member did jobs they were best at and made up an excellent team. Hope they'll all be back for next year. It's so nice to see people enjoying a day organised by a team you've been a part of. For me it's been the best carnival ever, but it's the first time I've really been involved with the organising.

No ,we should either go to swallows next year or use both swallows and oaklands which could work out quiete well ,ive also told the swallows we are going there next year as it is a lot lot easier to arange things and position and line up the parade ,there is also a lot more room and ground to work with
....but we will have to see

The Oaklands has plenty of space for 'storing' people though where as The Swallows does not. The Oaklands also has a bigger carpark.

You just want to use The Swallows because of the beer!

It's really not difficult for people to drive up Cottage Lane and down Robin Hood
