Many thanks to you all!

A lot of you forum members worked very hard as volunteers at the carnival today. I'd really like to say, and I know I speak for TD as well, just how proud I am of forum members because you are so dependable. When I need you most, you come through. I asked at short notice for help with a job we'd been let down on and almost instantly I had a team! :D

Special thanks to Magic, Sassy, Tracy and her mum, Heidi, BigAl, Charlotte and friend Hannah, Incey and Santos, for stepping in at the last minute to do car parking, programme selling and flags - hope I haven't left anyone out. Also, thanks to all of you who came and supported us.

You're all bliddy brill!!!

PS - added later cos I missed out - jilli! How could I have done that, when she got wet through and still held her head as high as she held the soggy flags she was handing out! Thanks jilli!!

Screw the padded room, give me a trampoline floor with bubble wrapped walls and a velcro ceiling.

Indeed a huge thanks to everybody.. including all of the staff at The Oaklands who kindly allowed us to use the (very posh looking) centre as a base for the parade.

So, so sorry! I was pretty bushed when I wrote that and my brain wasn't in gear properly. My apologies, I knew when I wrote it that I'd miss someone and nearly didn't bother to write it in case I offended missed volunteers, but I did it anyway. It's always dangerous to single out people for thanks. Then I thought about you jilli when I was driving to Mansfield today and was kicking myself. You did a brill job as well and thank you for jumping in at the last minute.

Tan, I know you helped as well and so did a lot of others and there are far too many to list and thank. A lot of people put in a lot of hours and will go unsung, which they'll accept as they always do when they do stuff for the community! Everyone deserves a pat on the back, but the reason for this topic was to thank those forum members who came in on the last week, at the last minute, to fill in gaps. Those who changed their plans to help out at the eleventh hour. Sort of a forum emergency service! :D
