You would have to take £100.00 an hour just to pay the ground rent......

Erm, did you read that in a daily newspaper by any chance?

If someone you know wants to pay us £700 for an ice cream van, tell them they can bring 10! That would sort a lot of our finances out!

£700 is absolutely ridiculous!

We certainly do not charge that ... however it may be the price that the fairground operators have to pay for their rent.... but even then it seems a bit high.

It's £2 per vehicle to anyone who isn't a carnival volunteer! That means it's free to you Heidi as you're a volunteer!

Unfortunately we are now in the lap of the gods with the weather! No matter how hard anyone works to organise an event like this, its success can still depend on the weather. So, everyone pray to keep the rain off.

I can't be at the carnival on Sunday, I'm on a course in Lincoln all day. :(
And this is also impinging on my prospects for being at the 'Muso's jobby' on Saturday. I have to be in Lincoln at 8am Sunday morning. I still may go depending on various factors. Doesn't help that I wrote my car off last week, :x having to use the standby, which doesn't go down too well with the rest of the family.

Don't forget today it's football all day on The Carrs and the music festival starts at midday and rocks on till midnight! No charge to watch footie and it still only £5 for a wristband to get you into the music marquee!

Tomorrow - the parade starts at midday from the Oaklands and the main events start on The Carrs at 1pm, no entry fee!

Buy a programme for full details of events - still only £1.

Starts from The Swallows doesn't it, had this problem last year with people turning up at The Oaklands for the floats and they were up at the Swallows.

It actually starts at the bottom end of Robin Hood.. it does not start at The Swallows.
