I heard this local business finally got hold of some (although not at quite as good a price as hoped) and is now selling Windows 7 Home Premium for £94.99

i did not expect my copy untill end of october i was going to cancel if this supplier had got some but it came on release day

Have done a trial installation of 32bit version of Ultimate in a VM (not finalised what hardware I'm buying just yet...at that price :lol:

) and it's looking quite good so far.
I thought the days of <1% CPU usage while idle was over for Windows - so I like that aspect, and it really does have a snappy feel - it almost feels like a vanilla install of XP
