As good as Firefox is... the new release annoyingly doesn't allow me to close my last tab! - just like in IE

When I did so, it used to load a blank tab, which in my case was superseded by an add-on which displays most of my frequent sites. I used this more than the bookmarks! I suspect there's some tab add-on somewhere which will rectify the situation,

Nevertheless, as the man said... give it a go :D

I have FireFox, IE8, Safari, Netscape and Google Chrome all on the same laptop, you can run two browsers side by side if you wish.

Errrr Mmmmmmmmmm well, there might be a problem with FireFox 3.5 seems to hang up when closing down and has one or two other niggles, tried to download F/f 3.0.1 ( The earlier version ) that worked a treat but I cannot find it, all the sites are pushing 3.5 so I'm hoping for an update that will address these issues. ( All spoken with a size nine in mouth ).

I came into computing with Basic my mentor was a wise old sage who worked in the Manchester University computer. Things have changed a little since then, well we did not have mice or viruses.
