A classic problem arose this afternoon in the old IE8 v FireFox, I have two animations running on a site, one is on the left border the other is on the bottom border. Well everything's fine until I add a third animation, I want to keep this a fairly reasonable size so to compensate I keep the transitions to an absolute minimum. The end product when published looks really good on FireFox, switch over to IE8 and it's a total disaster, nothing run smoothly and only two out of the three animations load IE8 gives up on the bottom border animation.

That is one of the subtle differences between the two, I now have to downgrade my site and look for a suitable alternative presentation.

That's always a problem with website developing, to be compatible with all browsers, you have to write for the lowest common denominator.
