Wow TD! A colour screen eh? :D

I think my first home PC was around 1994. It was top spec and cost me over £1500. A big mistake splashing out on a top spec machine because it was out of date within about 18 months and I'd never used it to its full potential simply because the software wasn't as advanced as the hardware! Then when it did start to catch up you needed to replace sound and video cards, ram etc to run them and it was cheaper to buy a new machine. Bring back Simon the Sourcerer! :D

I see Microsoft's next operating system (to replace Vista) will be out shortly and they've admitted that it won't be as difficult as its predecessor.

I can't recollect the release date but the beta version is already available for download now.
