Eggbert really likes his pickles. He keeps them in carefully labelled jars. He's got a jar of sweet ones, a jar of regular ones and a jar of mixed ones for when he can't make up his mind.
Unfortunately his flat mates Humpty & Dumpty decided to play a trick on him and swapped all of the labels so that they were all labelled wrong. Eggbert hated wasting his pickles and he really wanted to have some sweet ones for his tea. He quickly realised however that he could work out which jar was which by tasting a single pickle from just ONE jar. Which jar did he pick and why?

The answer:

Choose one from the jar labelled mixed. Whatever pickle it is you know that jar contains that and only that pickle.
