We are unfortunately going to miss the the carival :-(. It's looks like a great line up too. There's always next year !

Does much go on at christmas?

We have the Christmas market (when it doesn't snow). The town centre is closed off for the day and turned into a winter wonderland with ice skating rink, fairground, live music stages .. and of course market stalls and side stalls.

.......not forgetting too that the shops stay open late for a bit of pre festive shopping and some offer a tipple to their favourite customers! Fireworks as well! Don't forget we have fireworks! That's my favourite bit! :D

Pantomime!!! We also have a Christmas panto - well, it's not always at Christmas, it depends whether our local thespians get their act together - literally! :D
