Just thought I'd register on here and introduce myself...
Moved to Warsop about 7 years ago (born & bred in Woodhouse but you won't hold that against me will you!)
Whenever I get the chance you'll see me on the Carrs, I'm the bloke flying the kites!

Hi Kite Runner - Welcome to the forum! I'll look out for you on the Carrs. I love kites!

I've seen a Kite Runner advert somewhere this week but I can't for the life of me think where. Do you do workshops somewhere?

Not me... I just picked it as a forum name! I am a member of the Midlands Kite Flyers and we run kite makeing workshops for kids, but the kites I fly on the Carrs are high-end stunt kites costing £200 each!

I have a few cheaper kites i let people fly if they fancy having a go.

Then that is a real coincidence! I'll keep my eye open for whatever it was I saw. I seem to think I was a my desk at work when I saw it. I'll be racking my brain now!!

I noticed it because I like kites and it's one of the things both my boys loved as kids and still do - so I know the kind of kites you mean, they can take some hangling.
