Re the tank.
Hubby says it's been gone years 10 or 15 years maybe more.

Never mind, but thanks for telling me how you found us. I'm sure someone on here will know whether or not the old tank's still there. Try asking on the memories section, that's where all us oldies get. :lol:

We used to hide the tanks from the army. We used to move them with Landrovers there were two old tanks :lol:

Remember gazing in awe at the arrival of the first Ford Capri to the showroom at Warsop Motor Company. . was it 1969??

[Remember as kids combing Budby Common for spent cartridges to make 'bullet-belts' to hold up our Levi-501s. . . .hope i'm not giving away my age here :? ]

:lol: I remember those belts! My brothers used to collect them and the cordite from Budby.

....... And the 501's - how many of us sat in the bath with them on trying to get them to shrink to our own size? I'm not sure it did anything other than turn your legs blue! :lol:
