Hi, I'm very new to this, but I thought it would be good to join in and have a chat about what's going on in Warsop. I have lived here for around 38 years and I have seen many changes. I suppose many have been for the better , but some definitely haven't. It's good to see the new estate at the back of the Town Hall though, and the Sure Start building on the corner looks much nicer than previously. It's good to portray a nice image to people passing through and for Warsopians in general eh? I'm not sure about the new Nisa shop though. I have only been in a couple of times and I'm not too sure about it yet. I'll reserve judgement for a few months. We really do need a new place to shop though. For the size of Warsop, the food shopping facilities aren't great. Anyone agree or otherwise? Nice to have a chat though. I'm at work at the moment, so i shouldn't be chatting, but it is my break/lunch time now.

Welcome to the forum JMC! It's nice to have someone to talk to, so I hope you visit regularly. We're not a bad lot on here!

I think Mills (NISA) is brighter and more open than it was as Kwiksave/Somerfield and it's more pleasant to shop.

Thank you all for making me feel so welcome. I am at work again!! I am not on the internet at home yet, so I can only use my computer at work. I am seriously considering getting the internet soon, but I only have a mobile phone. I know it's not a problem, so I am looking into it in the new year. I am working tomorrow until 1.30. so if I don't get the chance to contact you all again before January, have a great new year and keep warm.

Happy New Year. I only have a mobile phone too. I was outraged at BT charges to reconnect the line at the house I have moved to - so I now use one of the dongles from orange to access the internet and find it quite efficient!

Was so antagonised with their attitude after three enquiries, a customer service person said that the could do free reconnection but I told them I had had enough and wasn't it strange that they could do it when I said that I was terminating my current contract with them!!! Finding dongle works fine.
