maybe i can catch up with a few mates, was born in Cotton Mill Langwith, moved to warsop in 1950, schooled at Burns Lane infant school, Sherwood Street, and Birklands Boys, lived on hammerwater drive, moved to Friar Lane when married. Moved to West Australia in 1970 have been back 3 times in the last 39 years, my Name is Mal Holland. would like to catchup with anyone from my era and gos

Hi there Mal, welcome to the forum.

I was born near you, at the end of Wood Lane, attended exactly the same schools, moved to Sookholme Drive, married someone on Hammerwater, but your name does not ring a bell.
I'll have to ask " 'er who knows it all" tomorrow :lol:

:lol: 'er who knows it all' is the same age as me though and if Mal moved to Warsop in 1950 that was a little bit before we were born, so he's a bit our senior. Even older than you Whitey! :lol:
