Someone else who doesn't like to see bad news eh moaner? I agree! There's no wonder the morale of people in this country is so low when every newspaper and every news station is hell bent on bringing doom and gloom. It doesn't give us a lot of hope really.

It's nice to see some sunshine for a change, its just like spring but I don't think we're totally out of winter yet.

It's off to the Farm Shop to do some shopping then out and about whilst the weather is nice?

Yes, isn't it lovely again and I think this will last until midweek - frosty nights and warmer days. Then we'll see a change back to cold days and the risk of snow before the end of the week.

I bought a sack of Green's Farm spuds from Bargain Booze and we had some mashed with dinner today. They were very tasty and it's nice to be going back to spuds with muck on them, they really do taste so much nicer than the washed spuds you buy from supermarkets. I've got into the habit of buying my veg from Bargain Booze lately as well and I have to say their prices are considerably lower than any supermarket. One up for a local businesses! ;)

You are right WP, spring is on its way. I had confirmation of that this morning as I watched some restoration work taking place near Meden school. The rooks were busy repairing their nests.

Frogs are also starting to move to their spawning places. I saw one on our street on Friday, another sign that Spring is round the corner. It should be another pleasant day today but it's gradually getting colder and winter will return for the second half of this week.

I served them the healthier option - substitute the Fries for Carrot Sticks.
