Well done with the win on Sunday, 36 out of 40 is a bit too brainy!

Thanks WP I'm sure it was a one off! I thought it was easy this week, probably because I've done too many Christmas quizzes at work. :D

It was a really good night and nice to see so many new faces there too! Looking forward to next Sunday!

Well lets hope its not a subject you are well versed with on Sunday then, give someone else a shot at the glory!

You stand need to talk. It's about time a team other than yours won it! ;)

There aren't many subjects I'm well versed in and it's unlikely it will be another Christmas themed quiz this Sunday, so I've no chance, especially where sport and TV/film are concerned. If we're a full team, one member can rattle off sports answers like she's an encyclopeadia but having a full team does confuse matters because we get conflicting answers and you can bet we choose the wrong one!

It's all a bit of fun though and I do enjoy Sunday nights at the Plough! :D

I ruled out ther fertilizer as I did not think the farmer would keep it on the field and they don't normally have a 360 digger to put it on.

I wondered aout the drainage thing too but thought it would just get ploughed in and would not really make any difference at the top of the hil.

Hmmm, must keep thinking. Could it be anything to do with the rubbish that is burried under there?

I always think New Years Eve/Day is so over estimated, I think its what you aim for and achieve during the year which counts.

A very Happy New Year to everyone!
New Year's Eve, just like everything else in life, is what you make it. :D

I'm spending this evening with family around me and that's exactly how I want it to be. Tomorrow is my bro Bob's birthday, so we'll be at his house celebrating with family.

Just returned from Chesterfield at midnight and all the fireworks were being let off with the Crooked Spire floodlit, not much traffic on the road

To all those who received a book from me as a Christmas present...

They are due back at the library today.
